Use a dry frying pan.

Put the peas in, frozen. Turn the heat on.

The peas will cook in their own steam as the ice melts.

It will take only a few minutes, depending on quantity.

Advantages of my method:

  • Quicker.
  • No washing-up (just give the frying pan a wipe).
  • Preserve all the nutrients and flavour, rather than dissolving them away in boiling water.
  • Use less energy – cheaper and more environmentally-friendly.
